Fur trapper, Indian agent, and soldier was Bro. Kit Carson. His exploits west of the Mississippi were as famous as Bro. Daniel Boone's east. Bro. Kit Caron's father fought in the Revolutionary War, then moved with his family from Kentucky to a tract of land in Missouri owned by Bro. Daniel Boone's sons. At age 16, Bro. Kit Carson followed the Santa Fe Trail to Taos, New Mexico-capital of the fur trade in the Southwest. He stayed with a friend who had served with his brothers in the War of 1812. The 2016 Sweethearts Dinner and dance plans are set and ready. The cost this year will be $20.00 per person. the menu is as follows; Main entrée will be prime rib, or as an alternate you can have chicken or fish. Chino Valley Lodge #427 Confers First Degree For. Mr. Velasquez Ontario, CA – On August 26, 2015, Chino Valley Masonic Lodge conferred the first degree of Masonry on Mr. Velazquez with every station filled and over twenty five Masons in attendance.
