Chino Valley Lodge #427 Confers First Degree For. Mr. Velasquez Ontario, CA – On August 26, 2015, Chino Valley Masonic Lodge conferred the first degree of Masonry on Mr. Velazquez with every station filled and over twenty five Masons in attendance. I would like to thank all of those Brothers and Sisters that came out to Evergreen Lodge this past Saturday. Through your generous support and hard work, Evergreen had one of the most successful events to happen in a very long time. We were able to collect 22 pints of blood. This is double the amount from our last Blood Drive two years ago. And as of yesterday, there have been 1,143 toys donated, totaling and estimated $7,200 - and more donations are still coming in. There is something beyond all of these wonderful accomplishments that also transpired this weekend. …

This year our Grand Master is leading an effort to support the Firefighters in Safety Education (FISE) program. This program will bring active firefighters into our public schools to teach age-appropriate fire safety lessons to thousands of elementary aged school children every year. Parents should never have to respond to a fire emergency involving their children, however, should it occur the FISE program will be the difference between a parent’s prayer of relief verses one of sorrow. Since 1920, Freemasons in California continue to celebrate free, public education. Then Grand Master of Masons of California and Superintendent of Public Education, John Swett, declared the month of April as Public Schools Observance Month and urged all Lodges and the Brethren to conduct programs which support their local schools. Temescal Palms Lodge #314 Free and Accepted Masons in Corona has a long-standing relationship with the Corona-Norco Unified School District in this endeavor.
