Temescal Palms Lodge Hosts Breakfast On July 4th

  Celebrating our countries birthday started early in the day, with breakfast at Temescal Palms Lodge #314, in Corona. Many families enjoyed the large breakfast that included scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy and pancakes, which was cooked by many of the younger members of the Lodge. The Jr. Warden, Mike Padilla, provided his truck to pull this year’s float for the Corona parade. The Master, Robert Burger and the Corona Job’s Daughters Bethel, were among those that braved the morning sun to ride in the parade down Ontario Avenue.   Sonora League does it again. Temescal Palms Lodge #314 and DeMolay Chapter hosted Sonora DeMolay League Sweethearts Ball in Corona June 30, 2012. It was an evening honoring Miss Lerina Galba-Bright of Moreno Valley Chapter – League Sweetheart and Miss Sarah Baker Moreno Valley Chapter Sweetheart. The hall was jammed to capacity with Sweethearts, Princesses and DeMolay’s from all over the Jurisdiction. The pretty young ladies of DeMolay dressed in their formals and tiaras were highlighted as they were escorted by league presidents and Master Councilors to the theme music ‘Titanic’.   I had the great honor to present Jamie Back her seven thousand dollar scholarship at the San Jacinto High School in June. Reading  resumes from students like this are inspiring. Ms. Back graduated from San Jacinto High School this year with a G.P.A. of 3.98. That is just the surface of Ms. Back. She is a bright and competent individual with strong qualities and understands what it takes to be successful. The second annual Division 8 Inspector of Instruction and family weekend in Big Bear was held on June 29 and 30, 2012.  Members of Big Bear Lake Lodge and many of the Inspectors and their wives, joined the A.G.L., Frank Lee and his wife Lewrana, on Friday evening for dinner, hosted by Big Bear Lodge.   The annual summer festival at the Masonic Home of California at Covina was held on Saturday, June 16, 2012. This year there was “Aloha”, obviously using a Hawaiian backdrop to all of the day’s activities.   Everyone was given a very warm greeting at the checking table and received the traditions leis, to be worn for the day.  This year there were over 400 in attendance, which included residence of the home, Grand Lodge Officers and their families, Officers and families from the California Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, and Masons and their families.  There were many special…

  San Jacinto had their program, ”Let’s Go to Las Vegas”, with Seniors On Stage, on June 15, 2012 at Hans Christianson Middle School in Menifee. The proceeds from the evening went to the Grand Master’s project, “Raising A Reader”. The evening included 25 acts, that consisted of stand up comedians, such as “Larry the Cable Guy”, an operatic aria performed by Jan Milos, an Hawaiian dance performed by Barbara Leone accompanied by her husband Vince Leone singing “Blue Hawaii” and moving renditions of the gospel song “All Rise” by Arlene Fisher and “America the Beautiful” sung by Leonard Fisher. …

Bull passing the Gavel to Luther Wood, WM Palm Springs Lodge #693, to the SD, Imanuel Eisendle, and on to SW Ted Parker and the JW David Pucksoontorn. Palm Springs Lodge 693 Presents Golden Veteran Award

file://localhost/Users/franklinlee/Desktop/Palm%20Springs%20Golden%20Veteran%20Award%202012/DSC04064.JPG Brother Fogle graduated from El Paseo, Texas High School in 1946.  He also received greetings from his Uncle Sam and was enrolled in Basic Training in the Army.  After Basic Training he was trained to be Solider in the 82nd Airborne, Tank Battalions and in the Corp of Engineers.  Then the Army liked him so well they sent him home and told him to get a college education.  So he enrolled in the University of Texas at El Paseo.  The military liked the good grades he was maintaining so well, they invited him to flight school in 1949.
