Third Degree At Hemet Lodge

  On Tuesday, September 11th, Brother Tony Martin was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason in Hemet Lodge #615. Lodge was opened and the First Section conferred by Worshipful Anthony McLean and his corps of officers from Temecula Catalina Island Lodge #524. Members of the Division VIII Degree Team conferred the second section of the degree and Worshipful Frank Postmus, PM, delivered the lecture. Evergreen Masonic Center Gets a New Look

  Over   the  past  year, the  familiar face of  Evergreen Masonic Center has  been under-going a significant perking up. Just  drive in and  you will see that the grounds are  looking the best they have in years. The  sign in the entry-drive got  fresh letters and a coat of paint and  the  parking  lot got a fresh  blacktop,  and  the  building  has a fresh  coat  of  paint . Southern California Jurisdiction Conclave 2012 August 31-September 2

  Southern California Jurisdiction DeMolay (SCJ), held their annual Conclave at the Riverside Marriott hotel. The Heroes of Sparta brought their spirit and enthusiasm to the entire hotel and to the Riverside Municipal Auditorium, where many events were held this year, due to the Convention Center undergoing a major remodeling. The Consulting Oracle kicked off Conclave on Friday at 8p.m. Activities lasted long into the night, such as “Gods Never Sleep” that was board games, Karaoke and movies, which went from midnight to six a.m.  A few Grand Lodge officers were seen partaking in the festivities with the younger Gods.…

Green Valley Assembly 220 Host I.O.R.G. Grand Officers Reception

On Saturday, September 1, 2012, Green Valley Assembly #220 held a reception for their Grand Officer, Nicole Patterson, Member of the Grand Executive Committee, California Flag Bearer, and Representative to Italy and Michigan. The podium in the east was beautifully decorated with a cascading rainbow of tulle, with a large golden image of the State of California resting on the rainbow.  The large audience included not only many present and past Rainbow Grand Officers, Rainbow Girls from other Assemblies, many past and present Mother Advisor’s and board members from other Assemblies, and two Assistant Grand Lecturer’s from the Grand Lodge…

  On Friday evening, August 31, 2012, M. W. Frank Loui and many of the Grand Lodge officers were at Menifee Valley Lodge #289, Sun City, on the occasion of the Lodge's 125th Anniversary. A dispensation authorizing Elsinore Lodge U. D. to meet was issued September 1, 1887. On September 1, 2005, Elsinore #289 and Perris #411 consolidated to form Menifee Valley #289. Fellowship Lodge Moves Forward

  Fellowship Lodge #668, in Yucaipa, has been in the midst of an extensive rebirth.  From the Lodge building to their activities, they have been making big changes.  They have recently painted the outside of the building, resurfaced and marked the parking lot and they have refurbished their Masonic emblem on the outside of the building. The Lodge has also been working on having more exposure in the community.  They are currently manning a child ID booth every Friday evening at the Yucaipa Market Night, a local community event that is put on by the Yucaipa Chamber of Commerce August…

Awards Ceremony At Ungava Chapter

 W.M.  Cara Sung and W.P. Slade Smiley made presentations after a catered spaghetti dinner on August 6 honoring three recipients: Don Young, Lynnette Channon and Kelly Padilla. Over 55 people attended coming from various chapters.  All three recipients were heralded for going “above-and-beyond” in their service to the family of freemasonry and their community. Don Young (a 3x Past Master) received a service award for being chairman of Ungava’s Board of Trustees, his work with the Collier reading program, volunteer teacher’s aid for 14 years, and his support of the programs at Scottish Rite and Shrine hospitals.
