It is with deep regret that I need to inform you of the passing of Brother Lester Martin Starbuck on April 23rd, 2019 at the age of 95 years, 7 months and 12 days and his loving wife Evelyn Jacobs Starbuck of 72 years who followed Les on May 3rd, 2019.  Brother Les was Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on May 29, 1947 in Laverne Valley Lodge No 453 in Laverne, Oilahoma and was a member in good standing for the past 72 years. He joined Temecula Catalina Island Lodge in September of 1989.  Brother Les had…

Called From Labor I regret to inform you of the passing of Brother Clyde Ross, Jr. on October 11th, 2016 at the age of 84 years and 9 days.   Brother Clyde who petitioned our Lodge in May of 1968, was Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on February 8th, 1969 in Catalina Island Lodge, No. 524, in Avalon and was a member in good standing for the past 47 years.  Brother Clyde resided with his wife Jean of 59 years on Santa Catalina Island since 1960. Having retired, Brother Clyde had previously worked as a Skilled Craftsman…

Brother Christopher H. Gage on February 29th, 2016 at the age of 63 years, 8 months, and 24 days at the VA Hospital in Loma Linda, CA. Â Brother Christopher had been Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on December 28, 1982 in Catalina Island Lodge, No. 524, in Avalon prior to the relocation to Temecula. Â Â Brother Christopher who was a disabled Vietnam Veteran, had been ill for some time, fighting lung disease, in addition to multiple other Agent Orange related issues, and had caught pneumonia in the end. On Tuesday, September 11th, Brother Tony Martin was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason in Hemet Lodge #615. Lodge was opened and the First Section conferred by Worshipful Anthony McLean and his corps of officers from Temecula Catalina Island Lodge #524. Members of the Division VIII Degree Team conferred the second section of the degree and Worshipful Frank Postmus, PM, delivered the lecture. The day began with the Grand Lodge officers, the officers of Temecula-Catalina Island Lodge, their families and guests socializing at the Lodge. At noon the Grand Lodge performed their Grand Lodge opening which was followed by a great lunch.  The ceremony at the high school began with the entrance of the Masons and Grand Lodge officers. The American flag was presented by the NJROTC Color Guard, and the national anthem was sung…
