Firefighters In Safety Education (FISE) – An answer to a parent’s prayer of relief.

This year our Grand Master is leading an effort to support the Firefighters in Safety Education (FISE) program.  This program will bring active firefighters into our public schools to teach age-appropriate fire safety lessons to thousands of elementary aged school children every year. Parents should never have to respond to a fire emergency involving their children, however, should it occur the FISE program will be the difference between a parent’s prayer of relief verses one of sorrow.  Fire safety education should never be delayed as it is truly a matter of life or death for our children.  Unfortunately, due to…

Chino Valley Lodge 427 Charter Reinstated

    The Grand Master, Most Worshipful John Lowe & the Executive Committee of the Grand Lodge of California have voted to Reinstate the Charter of Chino Valley Masonic Lodge # 427. A Grand Lodge representative, Worshipful Inspector, Herb Pompey presented the Charter to the Lodge at our Stated Meeting on Monday, April 1st, 2013. The Division VIII, Grand Lecturer, Worshipful Frank Lee was present. Both our Inspector and A.G.L. were very happy, as were the Brethren to be able to return the Charter to Chino Valley Masonic Lodge.   Saturday, September 15th, Brothers John Brooks, Kevin Currier, Rob McGill and I loaded into the car in the early morning hours and made the drive to the beautiful town of Prescott, Arizona. Our final destination was the Fain Ranch, Home of the Prescott Outdoor Degree. Brother Brooks and I made this trip two years ago and had a good idea of what to expect. 163rd Annual Communications

    Lewrana and I flew to San Francisco on Wednesday, September 19th to prepare for this year’s Annual Communications. San Francisco greeted us with lovely blue skies and 70 degree weather, which was a welcome change from the 90 degree weather we had in Riverside. We enjoyed a delightful Italian dinner that evening with the other Assistant Grand Lecturers and their wives. On Thursday we met with the Grand Lodge officers and their wives for a review of the weekend’s activities, which was followed by a ritual practice for the Grand Lodge officers.
