The First Annual Gingerbread contest by Job's Daughters Bethel No. 264 of Evergreen Lodge was held on December 5, 2012. Each table had a great gingerbread house to decorate (provided by Pete Servantes a member of Evergreen Lodge).With theme's like: What were you thinking? Country Christmas, Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, Most Jobs, Most decorated, etc; everyone had a great time decorating their house. W. Golden Anniversary, 50- yr. Award is presented to Bro. Joseph E. Davis following Fellowship Lodge's dinner in honor of his half-century commitment to the Craft's principal tenents of Freemasonry: brotherly love, relief, and truth. Bro. The largest assembly of Past Masters in the 822nd district resulted in a fine evening on November 14. The event held at Evergreen Lodge began with a salad ,steak , baked potato, masonic beans, and a homemade dessert all prepared by Lynnette Channon and Greg Covel. Evergreen officers opened lodge earlier. There were 41 Masons in attendance with 21 being Past Masters from 4 Lodges:  Evergreen, Riverside, Temescal/Palms, and Moreno Valley as well as one from Scotland and one from Nevada who are now affiliated with Lodges in our district. On the evening of Tuesday, November 13th, the Third Annual Public Service Appreciation Awards Ceremony was held at Temescal Palms Lodge #314, F&AM, located at 2313 South Main Street in Corona, California. Brother Haworth was honored at Evergreen Lodge in Riverside for his 50 years of membership at a dinner and presentation on November 7, 2012. The honoree was  escorted to the East to be pinned by his Grandson Tanner and then conducted to a place between the pillars to commemorate his journey in the Lodge. A biography of Brother Haworth was presented by Inspector, John Channon and the certificate was presented by Master, Greg Covel. The 43rd annual deep pit barbecue hosted by Yucaipa Fellowship Lodge No. 668 was a huge success. In the weeks leading up to the BBQ they manned the Child I.D. booth at the local Farmer's Market. In anticipation of  having a large crowd, they completed a revovation of the Lodge by painting the exterior, resurfacing and restriping the parking lot. About 250 people were served with the help of the Rainbow Girls and DeMolay boys, and children’s games were provided along with a disc jockey playing some oldies. Rim of the World Bar-b-que September 8, 2012 With the summer coming to an end, I enjoyed a beautiful day at the Rim of the Word Lodge’s annual BBQ and community car and motorcycle show. I was also able to take a tour of their Lodge and appreciate their beautiful handcrafted furniture. One of the many historical items on display is a beautifully hand crafted leather photo album.
