Fur trapper, Indian agent, and soldier was Bro. Kit Carson. His exploits west of the Mississippi were as famous as Bro. Daniel Boone's east.  Bro. Kit Caron's father fought in the Revolutionary War, then moved with his family from Kentucky to a tract of land in Missouri owned by Bro. Daniel Boone's sons. At age 16, Bro. Kit Carson followed the Santa Fe Trail to Taos, New Mexico-capital of the fur trade in the Southwest. He stayed with a friend who had served with his brothers in the War of 1812. Yesterday (5/29/2016) Worshipful George Whitmore, the Assistant Grand Lecturer for Division 8, was honored at a reception by his brethren (including many Grand Lodge Officers), family and friends, which was hosted by Victorville Lodge No. 634 and held at the Hilton Garden Inn by his brethren. A good time was has by all. Congratulations Worshipful George.

May 22, 2016 Bro. Irving,( Bud) Bacon, passed into eternal rest yesterday at 2 PM. He was at home with his daughters by his side. Bro. Bacon was 95 years old and in November would have been a Mason for 61 years. He was raised in Guardian #558 (Downey United 220), 11/10/1967. He was born in Maryland 8/13/1921.. He affiliated with Temescal Palms 8/7/2007. He was also a member of Rosemead 457

Public Schools Observance 2016 The evening of April 26, 2016 brought together the Brethren and friends of Temescal Palms Lodge #314 with staff and students from the Corona-Norco Unified School District for our annual Public Schools Observance Program. Temescal Palms honored an exemplary student was from each high school in the District with certificates of accomplishment from State Senator Richard Roth, Riverside County Supervisor John Tavaglione, Congressman Ken Calvert, the City of Corona, and Temescal Palms Lodge.
