Seniors on Stage Interview
The D8 Today team interviewed several actors from the “Seniors on Stage”, which is presenting a Vegas style variety show for San Jacinto Lodge #338, and they expect to have over 200 in the attendance. They met and interviewed “Larry the cable guy” who is portrayed by Jack Aten and several other actors and even met the Producer/ Director. Several other portrayals are scheduled to be on stage at this event, which will last about one and a half to two hours long. All ticket proceeds will be donated to the Grand Master’s Project and will be presented to him…

Jobs Daughters Bethels Host Pajama/Cartoon Party for Grand Guardian
Four Bethels got together on Saturday, March 24, 2012 for a Grand Guardian visit at Evergreen Masonic Center. The Jobs Daughters from Riverside, Moreno Valley, San Bernardino and Redlands hosted a pajama breakfast with old-time cartoons playing on the big screen, a full breakfast for almost 100 people, and cartoon trivia games. Five Lodges Perform Third degree
This group picture was taken after the Third Degree for Bro. Hani Gabriel at Yucaipa Fellowship Lodge No. 668, on the evening of March 20. Delmar Bittle Receives Golden Veterans Award
At San Jacinto’s March stated meeting, Del Bittle, Past Master of San Jacinto Lodge #338, was presented his 50-year pin from Russ Baldauf, Inspector of the 826th Masonic district. His wife Mary Jane participated in this special occasion by pinning the beautiful pin to his lapel. Worshipful Del was initiated into Howard Lodge #4 in New Franklin, Missouri in 1961 and demitted to San Jacinto Lodge in 1981. He served as Master in 1988, 1992 and 2006. Majority Ceremony At Bethel 264 Riverside
Bethel holds Majority Ceremony On March 10, ladies from four Jobs Daughters Bethels were honored with a Majority Ceremony. This honor is given to those Daughters who have attained the age of 20, thus "graduating" to adulthood. Some of the ladies missed this opportunity in their Bethel for a variety of reasons. Natasha Kruger grew up in Bethel 264 along with her two older sisters (all three are Past Honored Queens) and there mother who was Bethel Treasurer for many years. D8 Webmaster Ties the Knot Drew Gilkey, Jr. Past Master of Evergreen Lodge #259 and Veronica Dodd were married on St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17, 2012 in a lovely ceremony in Orange, Ca. After a day of torrential rain it cleared up just long enough to have the ceremony that was performed by Rev. Division 8 Prayer Contest
Dear Worshipful Sir and Brothers all: “No great or important undertaking … .” Prayer undergirds all we do in Masonry. Every meeting opens and closes with an address to the Throne of Grace. So it will be on June 20th when Division 8 presents “Operation Raising a Reader,” Grand Master Loui’s project to enhance the reading skills of disadvantaged children. Interview with American Charity Center
After meeting with Joe Blanco, the CEO of American Charities Center.com I realized what a great program this is. Joe Explained that after being in business for several years, he determined what he needed to do to separate his charity service from the others. The result is that he will take ANYTHING as a donated vehicle. He then re-furbishes the vehicle and sells it for top dollar for the charitable purpose. In this case of course it is for our Grand Masters project, Raising-a Reader. Joe utilizes e-commerce to sell the vehicles thus opening the world up for his marketing…
